Who Must Subscribe?

The scheme is mandatory for most employees in the federal government and private sector. Employees pay for it themselves. Some groups, such as investors who own their companies, domestic workers and retirees receiving a pension, are exempt.

Categories

  • Category A – basic salary up to the lower limit set by the scheme.
  • Category B – basic salary above that limit, with a higher premium and higher benefit.

Premiums are low and can be paid monthly, quarterly, half-yearly or yearly.

  2. Or subscribe through the MOHRE app, bank apps, exchange houses and kiosks.
